Vision

Go! Sign was set up with three main charitable aims, these are:

   1. To advance the gospel of Jesus Christ, particularly amongst Deaf People;
   2. To create a network of information to support Deaf and hearing signers;
   3. To promote the full participation of Deaf and hearing signers in their church life and communities.

 

Go! Sign is committed to the G.R.A.C.E. mission programme.

The G.R.A.C.E. network programme has a mix of theological and practical implications:

 

G = Growth: 
The gospel calls everyone to follow and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
Go! Sign provides various information and resources to help a deaf Christian’s discipleship.
Go! Sign encourages a local church to tailor for a better inclusive church life, service and ministry.

R = Renewal:
Go! Sign proclaims that Christ saved us through rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5).
Go! Sign provides information and resources for deaf and hearing people to renew their ministry of spiritual gifts.

A = Access:
The gospel of Jesus Christ challenges every believer to stand against injustice and oppression which still exists today.
Go! Sign encourage every local church to make the Gospel more accessible to all Deaf people.
Go! Sign recommends that church leaders should consider how to improve their churches to enable better inclusion of deaf people in church life and ministry (Luke 14:16-24).

C = Church:
Go! Sign adopts Paul’s theology of the Body of Christ as seen from a Deaf Perspective and is campaigning for more visible of diversity and unity. The potential and limitations of people can be creative in all types of church service, ministry gifts (1 Cor 12:12-31).

E = Evangelism:
In obedience, Go! Sign continually proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ that alone provides a new birth into life, hope and salvation, all in sign language and deaf cultural activities.
